KAN JAM (ADD ON)
KanJam is a super simple, super fun 2-on-2 outdoor throwing game where you toss a flying disc (Frisbee) and try to score by hitting or getting the disc into a plastic “kan” goal.
What you play with
2 plastic cans (goals), set up facing each other
1 disc
Usually played on grass/beach/park
Basic setup
Put the cans about 50 feet apart (that’s the common standard distance).
Teams: 2 players per team. Each team stands by one can.
How a turn works
One player throws the disc from their can toward the other can.
Their teammate (near the far can) is the deflector: they can slap/redirect the disc to try to score—but can’t catch, carry, or throw it.
Scoring (common version)
1 point: disc hits the outside of the can (no deflection)
2 points: deflected disc hits the can
3 points: deflected disc goes into the top of the can
Instant win (“KanJam”): disc goes through the front slot (“instant win” hole). In standard play, only the thrower can get this; a deflection into the slot typically doesn’t count (house rules vary).
Winning
First team to exactly 21 wins (going over usually means you “bust” and adjust back—varies by ruleset/house rules).
